Morning Folks!!
Some "Type Ins" are born, some are created. Some words and phrases get natural type ins and exist no matter what. Others are created by news events. On my July 4th post just earlier this week I stated the following:
"I watch folks and domainers chase what happened yesterday. What a waste!! You don’t chase yesterday folks, you set up shop on tomorrow and have them pour you a drink. You don’t CHASE, you WAIT! Because if you wait, it means you got there before them and you know they are coming. If you chase, that train already left the station and it may be never before the next train comes."
Last night before I went to sleep I checked out the Drudge Headlines. There it was a new type in. A NEW type in. A domain I registered in 2005 just MAY hit paydirt. Matter of fact when I got this domain along with many others, I did not even know how to spell the name because there was no info on the Internet to find out. I did not know 1 "T" or 2 "T's". 1 "M" or 2 "M's" so I had to guess. But I got a could of them right.
Now this is premature and it only happens if a prediction from 2005 actually happens. Right now it is just a strong rumor. What is that prediction from 2005? 2005! Chase tomorrow! So I look up the domain name. Taken! Shit! That was a domain that would have entered my mind. I look it up. Fuck Yeah! I own it! I look up the "Dash" version. Fuck yeah! I own that baby as well. 7 years with no traffic. 7 years. But this is also an example of a "Perishable" domain name. It basically has one chance and this is it. If she is not the pick, the domain's value goes to zero.

So we get to go on this ride together. 45 type ins yesterday. Just numbers and human nature acting together in real time. It provides answers and questions and understanding and each one acts as a way to sync the compass.

Have a GREAT Day!
